Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I need a coach?

Often, the patterns that hold us back are the ones we can’t see clearly from the inside.

Coaching provides structured, objective reflection. Through honest dialogue, we identify limiting beliefs, habitual responses, and areas of misalignment that may be influencing outcomes. Coaching also provides accountability — helping you stay connected to your larger goals when motivation fluctuates.

I’m more interested in professional development than health and wellness. Can you help with that?

Yes. While my background includes fitness and wellness, coaching frequently extends into professional development. I have worked with clients on business start-ups, branding, time prioritization, organizational systems, and navigating career transitions.

Because all areas of life intersect, professional clarity often requires personal clarity.

Why do you combine coaching and mentoring?

Coaching and mentoring are complementary. Coaching focuses on drawing insight out of you through structured inquiry and accountability. Mentoring involves offering perspective, education, and lived experience when appropriate. Depending on the client’s needs and goals, our work may lean more heavily in one direction at different times. My primary commitment is to your growth and well-being.

Do you only work with women?

Most of my experience and specialized certifications focus on women’s health and development, and many of my clients have been women. However, all inquiries are considered individually. If I am not the right fit for someone’s needs, I am happy to suggest other qualified professionals.

What are your qualifications?

I am an AFPA Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach.

I have completed continuing education courses through IDEA focused on nutrition, exercise science, and behavior change.

I have a decade of experience in fitness management and client-facing leadership.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology, with particular interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), post-traumatic growth, and positive psychology. I am also finishing my certification through NASM as a women’s fitness specialit’s.

Before entering the fitness industry, I served in ministry leadership and education roles (experiences that continue to shape my relational and ethical framework).
